Afaqulilmi: Journal of Islamic Education is a scientific journal that focuses on the publication of research results, theoretical studies, and critical thinking in the field of Islamic education. This journal is present as an academic forum to support the development of science, innovation, and Islamic education practices that are relevant to the needs of the times. With a broad scope of research, Afaqulilmi: Journal of Islamic Education encourages scientific contributions that can enrich the scientific treasure of Islamic education while providing solutions to educational challenges in the modern era. This journal publishes scientific works in various related disciplines, including the philosophy of Islamic education, Islamic education curriculum and learning, Islamic education management, Islamic education psychology, educational technology in an Islamic perspective, and the study of the thoughts of Islamic education figures. Thus, Afaqulilmi becomes an interdisciplinary space for academics, researchers, and practitioners to disseminate the results of research and scientific development in the field of Islamic education. Afaqulilmi: Journal of Islamic Education has e-ISSN XXXX-XXXX, and is published twice a year in Mei and November.

Afaqulilmi: Journal of Islamic Education presents scholarly articles on contemporary issues in Islamic education, curriculum development, educational technology, Islamic epistemology, and environmental awareness. The contributors are affiliated with STIT Darul Ishlah Tulang Bawang, UIN Sumatera Utara Medan, STAI Riyadul Ulum Condong, UIN Kiai Ageng Muhammad Besari Ponorogo, UIN Sultan Syarif Kasim Riau, Institut Ahmad Dahlan Probolinggo, UIN Siber Syekh Nurjati Cirebon, STIT Az Zahra Tasikmalaya, and STAI Indonesia Jakarta. The articles discuss eco-theological curriculum development, the Curriculum of Love, adab in the digital era, digital learning media, religion–science integration, tawhid-based science education, Al-Ghazali’s epistemology, and hadith studies. Collectively, these works contribute to the advancement of Islamic educational thought and practice in contemporary society.
